Tammy Repaso is committed to helping individuals and their families plan their futures, and through Cordell Planning Partners, she is able to assist them in protecting their assets and planning for the aging process.
As Senior Attorney and Practice Manager of Cordell Planning Partners, Ms. Repaso is an advocate for her clients, helping them navigate the ins and outs of elder law.
In addition to elder law, Ms. Repaso practices family law, assisting in matters pertaining to custody, divorce, and abuse cases. She also practices general civil litigation, including real estate litigation and probate. She diligently has spent more than nine years with Cordell & Cordell, where she practices family law, managing 11 offices around the country as a Practice Manager.
Ms. Repaso has experience drafting trusts, wills, health care directives, and powers of attorney. She also has represented individuals in probate litigation, estate administration, and in both adult and minor guardianships and conservatorships. Ms. Repaso has assisted numerous individuals in preserving assets in both divorce and probate/estate planning matters.
“I have seen firsthand the struggles individuals and their families experience when they have failed to properly plan for their senior years,” Ms. Repaso said. “Many people failed to plan because they simply did not understand their options. I want to educate individuals on options that may be available to them, so they can make educated decisions regarding their goals. These goals could be for their personal care during their senior years, in the event of a disability, or for the disposition of their estate upon the event of their death.”
In addition to her litigation experience, Ms. Repaso has experience as a Guardian ad Litem and as a Mediator.

Ms. Repaso is licensed in the states of Missouri, Michigan, North Carolina, and Minnesota.
Education
Ms. Repaso received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from State University of New York College at Buffalo and her Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan.
She studied for a summer at Oxford University in England before finishing law school, where she received the high grade in Comparative Constitutional Law.

Ms. Repaso is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, the State Bar of Michigan, the Minnesota State Bar Association, and the North Carolina State Bar. She also is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Inc.

Awards
Ms. Repaso was recognized in 2010 as a Missouri and Kansas Rising Star in the family law practice by Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters rating service of outstanding lawyers. This award is given to attorneys who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional development.
