Cordell Planning Partners, an elder care law firm that focuses on the protection of assets and estates, is hosting workshops from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, August 21, 2018, and 10 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, August 22, 2018, at the Jewish Community Center in St. Louis, Mo.
It is important to know how to plan for the future. You cannot choose the best course of action without understanding the complicated undertaking of estate planning.
The workshops will include topics such as the difference between revocable and irrevocable trusts, qualifying for government funds without losing everything, planning for disabled beneficiaries, defining the “60 Month Rule,” no cost pre-planning approaches to preserve assets, and information on health care proxies, probate, living wills, and powers of attorney.
Attendees should arrive to the Jewish Community Center at 2 Milestone Campus Drive, St. Louis, Mo. 63146 15 minutes early for registration. Parking is free, and free refreshments will be provided at the workshop.
