Cordell Planning Partners, an elder care law firm that focuses on the protection of assets and estates, is hosting workshops at 6 p.m. Monday, February 26 and at 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 27 at the Katy Cavins Community Center in O’Fallon, Illinois.
Protecting and planning your estate can be a complicated process. Knowing what your estate plan needs requires you to understand all of your available options.
The speaker for both workshops is Principal Partner and Founder, attorney-CPA Joseph E. Cordell. Each workshop will include topics, such as planning for disabled beneficiaries, qualifying for government funds without losing everything, the differences between revocable and irrevocable trusts, defining the “60 Month Rule,” no cost preplanning approaches to preserve assets, and information on health care proxies, probate, living wills, and powers of attorney.
Attendees should arrive to the Katy Cavins Community Center at 308 East 5th Street, O’Fallon, Illinois 62269 15 minutes early for registration. Parking is free, and free refreshments will be provided at both workshops.
