Cordell Planning Partners, an elder care law firm that focuses on the protection of assets and estates, is hosting workshops from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, June 14, 2018, and from 10 a.m. to noon, Friday, June 15, 2018, at the University of Missouri Extension in Kirkwood, Mo.

Each workshop will include topics such as the differences between revocable and irrevocable trusts, planning for disabled beneficiaries, qualifying for government funds without losing everything, defining the “60 Month Rule,” no-cost pre-planning approaches to preserve assets, and information on health care proxies, probate, living wills, and powers of attorney.
Attendees should arrive to the University of Missouri Extension at 132 E. Monroe Ave., Kirkwood, Mo. 63122 15 minutes early for registration. The meeting room is the training room. Parking is free, and free refreshments will be provided at both workshops.
