Cordell Planning Partners, an elder care law firm, is hosting workshops at 6 p.m. Tuesday, January 16, 2018 and 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at the Mid-Continent Public Library’s North Independence Branch in Independence, Missouri.

Speakers for both workshops include Principal Partner and attorney-CPA Joseph E. Cordell and attorney Tammy Repaso. Each workshop will include topics such as planning for disabled beneficiaries, qualifying for government funds without losing everything, the differences between revocable and irrevocable trusts, defining the “60 Month Rule”, no cost preplanning approaches to preserve assets, and information on health care proxies, probate, living wills, and powers of attorney.
Attendees should arrive at 317 W. 24 Highway, Independence, Missouri 64050 15 minutes early for registration. Parking is free and free refreshments will be provided at both workshops.
