Cordell Planning Partners, an elder care law firm that focuses on the protection of assets and the planning of your future, is hosting two free workshops from 1 to 3 p.m., Tuesday, March 19, and 10 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, March 20, both at the Chesterfield office of Cordell Planning Partners.
Protecting and planning your estate can be a complicated process. Knowing what your estate plan needs requires you to understand all of your available options.
The workshops will include topics such as the difference between revocable and irrevocable trusts, planning for disabled beneficiaries, qualifying for government funds without losing everything, defining the “60 Month Rule,” no-cost preplanning approaches to preserve assets, and information on health care proxies, probate, living wills, and powers of attorney.
Attendees should arrive to the Cordell Planning Partners office at 600 Kellwood Parkway, Chesterfield, Mo. 63017, 15 minutes early for registration. Parking is free, and light refreshments will be provided at the workshops.
