Cordell Planning Partners, an elder care law firm that focuses on the protection of assets and estates, is hosting a free workshop from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, October 16, 2019, at the Spencer Road Branch of the St. Charles County Library in St. Peters, Mo.
Protecting and planning your estate can be a complicated process. Knowing what your estate plan needs requires you to understand all of your available options.
The workshop will include topics such as defining the “60 Month Rule,” no-cost pre-planning approaches to preserve assets, planning for disabled beneficiaries, qualifying for government funds without losing everything, the difference between revocable and irrevocable trusts, and information on health care proxies, probate, living wills, and Powers of Attorney.
Attendees should arrive to the Spencer Road Branch of the St. Charles County Library at 427 Spencer Road, St. Peters, Mo. 63376, 15 minutes early for registration. The meeting room is Room 240. Parking is free, and free refreshments will be provided at the workshop.
