Cordell Planning Partners, an elder care law firm that focuses on the protection of assets and estates, is hosting a workshop at 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., Thursday, February 22, 2018, at Mid-Continent Public Library’s Smithville Branch in Smithville, Mo.
Planning for your future requires knowing all of your options. Understanding the complicated process of estate planning will allow you to protect your assets.
The speakers for the workshop are Senior Partner and Founder, attorney-CPA Joseph E. Cordell and Senior Attorney and Practice Manager Tammy Repaso. Each workshop will include topics such as planning for disabled beneficiaries, the difference between revocable and irrevocable trusts, qualifying for government funds without losing everything, defining the “60 Month Rule,” no cost preplanning approaches to preserve assets, and information on health care proxies, probate, living wills, and powers of attorney.
