Cordell Planning Partners, an elder care law firm that focuses on the protection of assets and estates, is hosting a free workshop from 10 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at the Matt Ross Community Center in Overland Park, Kan.
Protecting and planning your estate can be a complicated process. Knowing what your estate plan needs requires you to understand all of your available options.
The workshop will include topics such as defining the “60 Month Rule,” no-cost pre-planning approaches to preserve assets, planning for disabled beneficiaries, qualifying for government funds without losing everything, the difference between revocable and irrevocable trusts, and information on health care proxies, probate, living wills, and Powers of Attorney.
Attendees should arrive to the Matt Ross Community Center at 8101 Marty Street, Overland Park, Kan. 66204, 15 minutes early for registration. Parking is free, and light snacks will be provided at the workshop.
