Cordell Planning Partners, an elder care law firm that focuses on the protection of assets and estates, is hosting a workshop from 10 a.m. to noon, Friday, May 11, 2018, at The Stone Community Church in Independence, Mo.
It is important to know how to plan for the future. You cannot choose the best course of action without understanding the complicated undertaking of estate planning.
The speakers for both workshops are Senior Partner and Founder, attorney-CPA Joseph E. Cordell and Senior Attorney and Practice Manager Tammy Repaso. Each workshop will include topics such as the difference between revocable and irrevocable trusts, qualifying for government funds without losing everything, planning for disabled beneficiaries, defining the “60 Month Rule,” no cost preplanning approaches to preserve assets, and information on health care proxies, probate, living wills, and powers of attorney.
Attendees should arrive to The Stone Community Church at 1012 W. Lexington Ave. Independence, Mo. 64050 15 minutes early for registration. Parking is free, and free refreshments will be provided at the workshop.
