Cordell Planning Partners, an elder care law firm that focuses on the protection of assets and estates, is hosting a free estate planning and elder law workshop from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, September 10, 2019, at the Cordell Planning Partners office in Chesterfield, Mo.
It is important to know how to plan for the future. You cannot choose the best course of action without understanding the complicated undertaking of estate planning.
The workshop will include topics such as the difference between revocable and irrevocable trusts, qualifying for government funds without losing everything, planning for disabled beneficiaries, defining the “60 Month Rule,” no-cost preplanning approaches to preserve assets, and information on health care proxies, probate, living wills, and Powers of Attorney.
Attendees should arrive to the first floor meeting room of the Cordell Planning Partners office at 600 Kellwood Parkway, Chesterfield, Mo. 63017, 15 minutes early for registration. Parking is free, and light snacks will be provided at the workshop.
