Cordell Planning Partners is hosting a free workshop that deals with issues surrounding Medicaid and Elder Law from 10 a.m. to noon, Thursday, November 8, at the Crestwood Community Center in Crestwood, Mo.
In order to plan for the future, you have to understand all of the complicated aspects involved with Medicaid, Medicare, and your long-term care. Cordell Planning Partners is happy to provide a judgment-free, educational space for you to learn and ask questions.
The workshop will highlight issues such as Medicaid eligibility, applying for Medicaid, Medicaid approval, how long Medicaid benefits last, whether you can have Medicaid and Medicare at the same time, whether or not you can pay for nursing or long-term care with these benefits, protecting your savings while in nursing care, and so much more.
Attendees should arrive to the Crestwood Community Center at 9245 Whitecliff Park Lane, Crestwood, Mo. 63126, 15 minutes early for registration. Parking is free, and handicapped parking is available. Free refreshments will be served.
