Cordell Planning Partners, an elder care law firm that focuses on the protection of assets and the planning of your future, is hosting workshops from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, September 25, 2018, and 10 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at the First Baptist Church of Edwardsville in Edwardsville, Ill.
During the journey of life, we are called to manage our gifts wisely, but in order to leave a legacy for our loved ones, we need to know how to protect and prepare for the future.
The workshops will include topics such as the difference between revocable and irrevocable trusts, planning for disabled beneficiaries, qualifying for government funds without losing everything, defining the “60 Month Rule,” no cost preplanning approaches to preserve assets, and information on health care proxies, probate, living wills, and powers of attorney.
Attendees should arrive at the First Baptist Church of Edwardsville at 534 St. Louis Street, Edwardsville, Ill. 62025 15 minutes early for registration. Parking is free, and free refreshments will be provided at the workshops.
