Cordell Planning Partners, an elder care law firm that focuses on the protection of assets and estates, is hosting a workshop from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, September 13, 2018, at the Gamber Community Center in Lee’s Summit, Mo.

The workshop will include topics such as the differences between revocable and irrevocable trusts, planning for disabled beneficiaries, qualifying for government funds without losing everything, defining the “60 Month Rule,” no-cost pre-planning approaches to preserve assets, and information on health care proxies, probate, living wills, and powers of attorney.
Attendees should arrive at the Gamber Community Center at 4 SE Independence Ave., Lee’s Summit, Mo. 64063 15 minutes early for registration. The meeting room is the training room. Parking is free, and free refreshments will be provided at both workshops.
