Cordell Planning Partners, an elder care law firm that focuses on the protection of assets and the planning of your future, is hosting a workshop from 10 a.m. to noon, Tuesday, February 12, 2019, at the Matt Ross Community Center, in Overland Park, Kan.
Protecting and planning your estate can be a complicated process. Knowing what your estate plan needs requires you to understand all of your available options.
The workshop will include topics such as the difference between revocable and irrevocable trusts, planning for disabled beneficiaries, qualifying for government funds without losing everything, defining the “60 Month Rule,” no-cost pre-planning approaches to preserve assets, and information on health care proxies, probate, living wills, and Powers of Attorney.
Attendees should arrive to Matt Ross Community Center at 8101 Marty Street, Overland Park, Kan. 66204, 15 minutes early for registration. Parking is free, and free refreshments will be provided at the workshops.
